First you need to do some research and decide what kind of online business you want to do. There are many options. You need to be diligent in this phase. Don't just go for the first thing that looks good. Make sure you do your research.
You can do:
- Online marketing
- Network marketing
- Have an online store
- Sell on eBay etc.
Before choosing write down what you think your strengths are.
- Do you like to talk to people?
- Enjoy making web pages?
- Like the challenge of driving internet traffic?
- Like the idea of selling goods online?
- How about writing about things you know to help other people with similar interests?
One thing that most people miss is that your thinking is going to have to change to be truly successful. Do you know that most people who win the lottery end up more in debt than before they won? How about that 2/3 of professional athletes are broke 3 years after retiring? These are individuals that were making millions a year. The reason is that they didn't change their thinking. So the money just slipped through their fingers. Literally. Don't let this happen to you. Take a look at the recommended reading section I have. Spend at least 15 minutes a day reading one of these books or something similar. Realize that your most prized asset is yourself. Spend the time it takes to grow yourself. Also I recommend starting a journal and keeping track of your journey through this. Any life worth living is worth writing about.
Learn how to write goals. You have a 90% better chance of completing a goal if you write it down. Most people don't do this because they think it is a hassle. If you don't write your goals down then you are pretty much saying that you aren't that serious about being successful. Just how important are your dreams? Here are some resources:
